The primary purpose of this study is to outline the diagnosis, intervention and clinical outcome of a patient with occipital neuralgia. This study explores the anatomy, pathophysiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis and management of occipital neuralgia. It also views evidence supporting the use of dry needling in managing myofascial pain and occipital neuralgia.
