CMBA Registration Update - as at 1 December 2019

Under Section 38 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law as in force in each state and territory, the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (the Board) must develop and recommend to Ministerial Council mandatory registration standards and any other standards relevant to the eligibility of individuals for registration in the profession.

The Board has recently completed a review of its professional indemnity insurance, continuing professional development and recency of practice registration standards. Advance copies of the revised registration standards are included in the table below. For more information about the revised standard please read the news item.

- Continuing Professional Development - as at 1 December 2019

- Professional Indemnity Insurance Arrangements Registration Standard - As at 1 December 2019

- Recency of Practice Registration Standard - as at 1 December 2019

We strongly recommend that all AHRPA and CMBA registered practitioners click on the above link to view these documents to ensure you are acting in accordance with the new registration requirement taking effect on 1 December 2019.
